Next would be Molokai, or the ‘Friendly Isle’, stated so because it is a such friendly place to visit. Though it has been developed far less than the other Hawaii islands it still offers much to a visitor to its shores.

Probably the best known island is Oahu, known as ‘The Gathering Place’. This is where you will find the capital, Honolulu, and the well known Waikiki beach, Diamond Head and, of course, Pearl Harbor. To many people Oahu is synonymous with Hawaii, and this is where to go if you are a party animal. Most Hawaiian travel packages included this island on the itinerary.

Lastly, the island of Kauai. This is known as the “Garden Island” because it is such a beautiful island – people who vacation here never want to leave. Mark Twain came here and named Waimea Canyon the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’. The Napali Coast boasts 1,000 foot cliffs dropping straight down to the ocean, and beaches offering the best sun and surf you will find anywhere. Superlatives are unnecessary because every word you could use would be true about this magnificent island.
